BAE Systems Master Planner Sr. in Nashua, New Hampshire
Performs Master Planning tasks as required to help the ProgramOffice ensure that schedule, cost and technical requirements aremet. Monitors progress against baselines and assists programmanagement in identifying issues and work around plans. Utilizes avariety of software tools to analyze and optimize programschedules as well as to identify and quantify risks andopportunities. Assists program and proposal teams in preparationfor planning sessions and is instrumental in the generation of theprogram or proposal schedule. Assists program management inperiodic Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) updates and reports forcustomer and/or business management personnel. Identifies trendsand suggests corrective actions in a timely manner. Providesindependent assessment of program schedule performance tomanagement. Ensures that all schedules prepared within area ofresponsibility are fully compliant with company, customer, andindustry requirements (DID 81861, DID 81650, etc). Implementsand analyzes schedule risk analysis as required. Briefs results tomanagement and makes recommendations on techniques tooptimize the schedule. Participates in MP functional activitiesincluding surveillance, tool evaluation, policy reviews, processmanagement, and continuous improvement.
Typical Education & Experience
Typically a Bachelor's Degree and 4 years work experience or equivalent experience
Required Skills and Education
Thorough understanding of the DoD Integrated Master Scheduleand EVMS policies and processes. Demonstrable proficiency withstandard scheduling, EVMS, and MS Office tools.
Preferred Skills and Education
Direct experience with schedule analytical tools is preferred. Acurrent security clearance is preferred.
